Y2H: Our Yard-to-Habitat Workshop Program

Landscape transformation for homeowners and landscapers

Y2H is ANPP’s half-day workshop designed to help homeowners and landscapers transform property, from small yards in town to big pastures in the country, to work as habitat for pollinators, birds and other wildlife and improve ecological resilience.

After an introduction to the basic principles to landscaping for habitat, you’ll work in small groups with ANPP’s most experienced native gardeners to sketch your site plan, create a plant list with sources and a timeline. We usually have a potluck picnic and public plant sale afterward at our greenhouse.

Our next Y2H workshop will be:

Saturday, March 7, 2020, 8:30am-noon

at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective in Arnaudville (1510 Bayou Courtableau Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512).

Followed by potluck picnic and public plant sale at our greenhouse (1046 Main Hwy (some apps prefer 1046 Neblet St), Arnaudville, LA 70512)

$40 ($25 for ANPP members, who also get a 20% discount on all our plants). Discounts or rebates available for students, partners and independent landscapers. Just ask!
