Dan and Heidi Weintritt - Gold Louisiana Certified Habitat

Congratulations to Dan and Heidi Weintritt for achieving a Gold Level Certified Habitat on their suburban lot in north Lafayette. The lot is near the highest natural point in Lafayette Parish on a south-facing slope, and reflects the owners’ passion for plants. Beginning with a traditional southern suburban landscape six years ago, the Weintritts have expanded and planted their native beds and provided safe refuges for wildlife in their garden. The effort is ongoing as is their passion for finding and incorporating new species into their garden.
