Greenhouse renovations are complete. We are planting seed trays, making cuttings and divisions, potting tree seedlings. As we thin out the beds in the demonstration gardens, we will be potting plants that have spread over last season. Monarda, Mountain mint, elephant’s foot, ironweed, ashy sunflower, silphium and more, all need thinning. Come help dig and you can go home with these robust, beautiful plants.
Meanwhile, at the white house is sporting beautiful new curtains of vintage fabric designed by Katy Richard, sewn by Phyllis Griffard and Karen Sellers hanging in our meeting space. They are backed to block light during presentations so the graphics are clear. Well done you all!
